When users acquire Steady, we invest these funds in low-risk, high-liquidity assets such as US T-Bills, which provide a stable, reliable and predictable income.
Then our Smart Contract will automatically adjust the total supply of Steady to reflect up to 95% of this growth. Of course, we also have to pay our bills, so we use the remaining 5% to cover our operating expenses.
This means that as you hold Steady, you get a transparent, compliant stablecoin while you also benefit from the performance of our underlying assets (T-Bills). By simply holding Steady, your position will grow automatically in your wallet using the rebase mechanism to reflect the performance of our underlying assets.

Since our model relies on directly tracking the performance of our underlying asset, we cannot guarantee an exact APY as this will depend on market conditions. US T-Bills have historically offered an average return of 3-5% APY. While this serves as a reference, actual yields may vary.
